We are located in the town of Castels, neighbouring Saint-Cyprien, famous for its superb 12th century abbey church (listed monument) and its all-year-round weekly Sunday morning market (voted in 2019 "Most Beautiful Market in Dordogne") and Wednesday morning market during the summer.

In Saint-Cyprien, a 5 minutes' stroll from Sainte-Sabine, you will find restaurants, bars, pizzerias, Thursday's "night-markets" (during the summer), bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, as well as other local shops.

 

Sarlat is 20 km by car, or 25 mins by train from Saint-Cyprien station; the castles of Milandes (former home of Joséphine Baker), Beynac and Castelnaud are 10 km away towards Sarlat; Lascaux-Montignac is 40 minutes by car.

 

You can also enjoy the Dordogne river by swimming near the Garrit bridge, walking or cycling along the banks, or taking a canoe/kayak trip (departure from Saint-Cyprien).

 

In our gîte, catering for up to 6 people, you will find, on the ground floor, an "open space", which includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a lounge area.

Upstairs, you will find the sleeping area, which includes 2 spacious bedrooms (a "parental" bedroom a "family" bedroom), and the bathroom.

Outside, you will find your own dedicated parking space and a private terrace, with direct access to the swimming pool, the orchard and the "little forest".
